Paul Galagher’s guitar skills have been wowing audiences since his first gig at age 13.  He reluctantly began singing after a series of unsuccessful singer auditions, but this turned out to be a blessing as Paul has grown into a self-taught vocal powerhouse, with a seemingly unlimited range.

Paul has traveled the globe creating a high demand for his musical prowess.

Whether he’s rocking 10,000 people in Atlanta GA, or 100 people at a Brisbane pub, Paul never fails to impress.

Scott Saunders (Bass)

Scott Saunders has dedicated 27 years of professional experience to the bass guitar. In his recordings and engaging live performances, he uses his instrument to weave textured melodies and rhythms that vibrate with the transformative power of music.

Scott first engaged as a professional bass player while in high school at age 16 after joining a local working covers band. Since then Scott has recorded on over 27 album releases, toured with National and International artists including Kate Miller-Heidke, Serena Ryder and Transport, and lectured at the Conservatorium of Music in Brisbane. In 2003 Scott completed his bachelor of music at Griffith University and followed up with a post grad in education at QUT.

Luke Pammenton (Drums)

Luke Pammenton graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in 2008 having completed his Bachelor of Music in performance and Master of Music studies (majoring in Jazz Drum Kit and contemporary music) and is one of Brisbane’s most in demand drummers.

With over 20 years experience Luke’s diverse musical knowledge has allowed him to work with some of Brisbane’s top musical acts in a variety of different styles including La Gran Salsa, The Soundscapes Trio, Paradise City – The Guns and Roses tribute show, and one of Australia’s premier cover bands, Alter Egos.

Luke is also the drummer for the Brisbane based original groups Silence The Sun and MofoIsDead. He is endorsed by some of the biggest companies associated with drums and percussion in the world including Yamaha Drums, Promark Drum Sticks and Evans Drumheads.

In addition to performing live Luke runs a highly successful teaching studio on the south side of Brisbane providing private drum lessons to over 30 students per week.

Nick Muir (Piano)

Nick Muir began his piano journey at the age of 10. After moving from Tasmania to Queensland in his mid teens he spent time playing in a number of garage bands and also with his father during his country music performances. Nick’s style is heavily influenced by the blues and honky-tonk piano, with artists like Billy Joel being some of his favourites.

Nick is one of the most passionate and dynamic piano/keyboard players in the country and has performed shows all over Australia.

He has been performing with Alter Egos since the bands inception and brings a wide range of musical layers to the band, as well as a strong vocal influence. Nick sings some of his all time favourite songs during an Alter Egos gig, and is always striving for musical bliss!!
